Frozen Sweet Cherries

part of: Sweet Cherry

Frozen sweet cherries offer the deep, rich flavour of fresh cherries without the brief seasonal window. They’re ready to eat straight from the bag once slightly thawed, or can be used in smoothies, baking, compotes, and chocolate desserts.

Sweet cherries have a jammy, almost wine-like depth when frozen and thawed, which makes them particularly good in sauces, tarts, and as a topping for porridge, pavlova, or cheesecake.

How it's made

Sweet cherries are harvested at peak ripeness, washed, stemmed, and mechanically pitted. The whole fruit is then blast-frozen and packaged to preserve flavour and firmness.
